Tim Lezard写道,在伦敦地铁工作的RMT(英国铁路、海运及运输工会)成员将于下周起开始无限期罢工,以此争取保住自己的工作和工龄。 这场罢工于9月3日凌晨00:01分开始,一旦罢工开始,工人们将拒绝加班或参加任何提升课程,并不再参加任何评估。 RMT 的代理秘书长Mick Cash说:“我们要发起罢工的原因很明了也很简单。就资金引起的裁员、服务质量及安全水平的下降等问题上,伦敦地铁公司并没有认真地参与讨论。这忽视了许多残酷的现实,比如说地铁中暴力袭击事件增长了10%。撒切尔夫人的铁腕政策被鲍尔斯约翰逊传承下来了,目前他正准备重返议会并帮助卡梅隆。伦敦市民和前线的地铁工作人员只是政客们哗众取众的棋子罢了。 “RMT仔细查看了相关的细节,很明显,因为地铁站员工数量不足,很多地铁站运行的安全性和效能将会下降。譬如说Ladbroke Grove Cover维护组的人数将会减半。在早晚的高峰时段,当地所有地铁站都将独自运作。尽管伦敦地铁有限公司已经做出承诺,将增加工作人员,但是即使实在最繁忙的入口处,工作人员的数量也被减少了 在售票处方面,工会非常担心公司会依赖未经检验、不可靠的科技产品取代人工售票。尽管提出了这样的一些根本缺陷,但LUL方面连讨论应急计划都不愿意。计划无法如期展开也许恰好证明了他们并没有认真对待,也没有考虑后果。 “RMT曾一再要求与伦敦地铁公司进行有意义的谈判,但是四个月过去了,伦敦地铁公司对RMT提出的要求依旧充耳不闻。更糟糕的是,因为市长的施压,伦敦地铁公司正开始落实区域经理的任命计划,希望通过这一举措推进裁员进程以及自愿离职人员的确认工作。. 上周五,RMT地铁成员参加了一场大型会议,就“每一份工作都很重要”这一主题展开讨论。出席代表的观点十分明确,他们认为采取进一步的行动是保护工人权益和乘客的唯一举措。RMT给伦敦地铁公司下了最后通牒,要求他们在48小时内撤回裁员计划,但伦敦地铁完全无视RMT的要求。因此,我们现在要进入罢工的新阶段。在推动工会运动时,我们的工人会保持团结一致,绝不动摇。 最后一轮罢工过后,RMT与伦敦地铁公司展开了持续数月的讨论。讨论的内容主要是他们削减人员、改组地铁站等级以及关闭售票处这三大块。工会曾尝试与地铁公司进行建设性合作,甚至提供了我们自己的反建议,但是地铁公司仍然拒绝停止裁员计划的实施。 历时八个月的讨论依然没能挽回一份工作。我们仍然面临着地铁站大规模的人员裁减。目前,953人面临着被裁员,还有上千的地铁员工正面临着因地铁站降等而带来的减薪。所有的售票处也将于2015年年底全部关闭。 翻译:黄诗莹 校对:王琛
