BREAKING: ASLEF drivers reject Southern deal

southern-trainsASLEF drivers have rejected a proposed resolution to the long-running dispute with Southern Railways.

On a turn-out of 72%, 45.9% voted to accept the deal but 54.1% voted to reject it.

ASLEF general secretary Mick Whelan said: “We understand and support the decision arrived at democratically by our members and will now work to deliver a resolution in line with their expectations.”
