Heathrow strike suspended
A strike planned by Unite members working at Heathrow Airport has been suspended.
More than 4,000 Unite members working as security, airside operations and passenger services personnel across the airport’s five terminals voted to take action over pay, but now bosses have made a revised offer which is being put to them.
As a result, the strike action proposed for August 23 and 24 has been suspended. The ballot finishes on September 2.
